This is where 'Yort' praises, rants, raves and otherwise talks nonsense about Microsoft .NET and Visual Studio. Or anything else related to software development or Microsoft that he feels like throwing in. It's his blog after all...
Im curious why you would mark a post as an answer in technet forums, while stating that you were only "guessing" It does not give other readers a chance to reply, who may not be "guessing" afterall.
First of all, this probably wasn't the best post to place this comment on.
Secondly, if you can provide a link to the post in question I might be able to provide a better answer.
My guess would be because the question had been open for some time with no further follow ups (and usually I will post again asking the o.p. if they have solved their problem first before marking something as an answer), and/or because there was another post from the op indicating their problem had been solved by or with some help from my answer.
Additionally, I was not aware that marking a forum post as an answer stopped others replying... there have been plenty of threads that have had posts marked as answers where other people have posted follow up responses or even secondary questions, and other posts have also been marked as answers subsequently. This would indicate that marking a post as an answer doesn't stop further replies.
Thanks for the comment, and I apologise if I can inconvenienced anyone.
I love the way the people here interact and shared their opinions too. I would love to rack your future posts pertaining to the said topic we are able to read. Carson sirens
